Habitat for Humanity

HFHWC has many events each year. They play a major role in getting the word out in the community about our organization as well as fundraising.

Every year Habitat has had a golf tournament at The Cutten Club.

Delta Hotels is a national sponsor of HFH. In its first full year of existence, the Delta Guelph, partnered with HFHWC during its Delta Community Cruiser Tour. The hotel also hosted Habitats Celebration Dinner & Auction to celebrate Habitat’s success in 2009.

For every house we build we have a Groundbreaking or Blessing of the Foundation Ceremony to get the house underway. At the end of the build we have a ceremony that involves the families entering their brand new home for the first time.
