Our Builds

Since 2000 HFHWC has built 14 homes including the 3 we built in 2009.  Next year promises to be a busy one with another semi detached in Guelph and a house in Erin.

Our builds take on many themes.  The My Neighbour’s House project in 2009 was our first multi-faith build at HFHWC.  That is a trend we would like to continue.  With Whirlpool donating $100 000 for #5 Johnston St the house became our corporate build.  We enjoy having businesses bring their employees out of the office for a day or two or even a week to help build our houses.  In 2010 HFHWC will have its first Women Build.  Habitat International has done over 100 worldwide and we would like to see that number continue to grow.
