Our Future Builds
The Board of Directors is determined to grow the organization’s capacity to consistently build 5 to 10 houses each and every year. In the first 10 years of building homes, 16 houses have been built; seven in Guelph and nine in five communities of Wellington County. The plans set out for the next three years are four-fold.
- 21 houses; and
- Build in Guelph and at least one Wellington County community each year
- Continue to improve our building standards to maximize energy efficiency
- Increase the diversity of the applicant partner families to more closely reflect our community
We are actively searching for suitable building lots in all three communities. If you know of land that is available please call or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We are also looking for land that can accommodate at least a semi-detached building or land that can be developed over a couple of years providing space for up to ten families.
