2011 marks the return of Whirlpool Canada as a $100,000 Home sponsor. Whirlpool has been a dedicated sponsor with Habitat Wellington County since 2007. Stay tuned for more information about the Whirlpool build.
After Taylor Evans Public School grade six studnet, Karson Simpson won the Genworth Financial: Meaning of Home Contest in early 2011, we have committed to applying the wonderful $60,000 donation to a new home in Guelph. Both Genworth and Karson Simpson will be instrumental to the publicity events regarding this future build. Updates to come in the spring of 2011.
Also joining us for a special build this year is long-time supporter The Home Depot Canada Foundation who has granted HFHWC $10,000 towards a build. Stay tuned for more information about The Home Depot Canada's Foundation involvement.
